Moving Meetings is being organised by Theater Instituut Nederland (TIN) in collaboration with the Vereniging van Schouwburg en Concertgebouw Directies (VSCD – Association of Metropolitan Theatres and Concert Halls), the Nederlandse Dansdagen (Dutch Dance Festival) and is a coproduction with Parkstad Theaters Limburg.
"Moving Meetings is a unique opportunity, it gives a voice to dance, dance makers, programmers, and the audience." Roberto Casarotto (Festival Opera Estate)
On 6 & 7 October the dynamic two day programme Moving Meetings took place in Heerlen and Maastricht. Over two-hundred choreographers, programmers, marketeers, dance patrons and dancers from both The Netherlands and abroad met for the first edition for and about Dutch dance.
The participants got a general, comprehensive impression of both the beauty and the present uncertainties of the world of Dutch dance with live trailers, inspiring good practices, pitch sessions and interactions between all participants.
You can find more information here about the programme, organisation and the companies and choreographers involved who have also provided trailers (fragments from productions).
Co-producer of Moving Meetings is Parkstad Limburg Theaters.
