The Theater Museum will open its doors in 2013 in the cultural and civil heart of Amsterdam: the Stopera (Municipal Centre and Music Theater). The move is conditional on the support by the Ministry of Education, Culture & Science and the municipality of Amsterdam.

About TIN

Theater Instituut Nederland (TIN) is the heart of the world of theatre in the Netherlands. We document, support and promote Dutch theatre in the Netherlands and abroad. The TIN offers the largest theatre multimedia documentation centre in Europe, organises debates and public exhibitions, promotes talent in the Netherlands and abroad, and ensures harmonisation within the theatre sector. In this way we contribute to the strengthening of the social position of theatre and to the existence of a rich and inspiring theatre climate in the Netherlands.

Theater Instituut Nederland is part of the Key Infrastructure and is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
